Charged again : Illicit connections between boy and girl

The youths involved in the making of the “Happy in Tehran” dance video set to Pharrell Williams hit song “Happy” have all been sentenced, receiving suspended sentences of 91 lashes and six months in prison, with the exception of Reyhaneh Ta...ravati, who received a suspended twelve-month prison sentence in addition to the suspended lashes, provided they do not engage in any “wrongdoings” during the next three years. The court ruling was unofficially announced in Tehran today, according to a source who told the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran about the ruling.

دختر ۲۵ ساله ایرانی و سلول انفرادی
25 year old Iranian woman has spent 41 days in solitary confinement for attempting to watch the Iran-Italy volleyball tournament in June 2014....
Ghonche Ghavami was arrested outside Azadi Stadium. She was one of the many Iranian women who attempted to watch the match on June 20th.
Along with other women, she was arrested for demanding to attend the games. On the day of her arrest, her personal belongings were confiscated by the police. She was given a conditional bail that she would not attempt to re-enter the facilities.
Ghoncheh returned 10 days later to collect her belongings from Vozarra Detention Centre. . She was arrested on arrival and transferred to the notorious Evin Prison. Security forces raider her home on the same day.
Ghoncheh has been in prison for over 2 months, despite the fact that all investigations to her case have ended, she is still in detention awaiting a hearing. It was indicated by the officials that the hearing postponed for another two months.

غنچه قوامی خانم قوامی که روز سی ام خردادماه گذشته برای تماشای بازی والیبال ایران و ایتالیا در مقابل ورزشگاه آزادی حضور یافته بود، به همراه جمع دیگری از زنان دستگیر و به بازداشتگاه وزرا منتقل شد.
او که همانند بقیه زنان متقاضی حضور در سالن مسابقات والیبال، در همان روز با اخذ تعهد و توقیف وسایل شخصی اش آزاد شده بود، وقتی در روز ۹ تیر برای پس گرفتن لوازم شخصی اش به بازداشتگاه وزرا مراجعه کرد، بار دیگر بازداشت و به یکی از بندهای امنیت زندان اوین منتقل شد.
ماموران در همان روز منزل این دختر ۲۵ ساله را نیز تفتیش کردند و او از آن زمان تا امروز همچنان در بازداشت به سر می برد.
غنچه قوامی ۴۱ روز از مدت بازداشت خود را در سلول انفرادی گذرانده و با وجود پایان یافتن بازجویی های وی، چند روز پیش قرار بازداشت او برای دو ماه دیگر تمدید شده است و حالا بعد از ۶۷ روز تازه خبر بازداشت او منتشر شد.

Simin Behbahāni 

(Persian: ; 20 June 1927 – 19 August 2014)

was a prominent Iranian poet, activist and translator . She was Iran's national poet and an icon of the modern Persian poetry, Iranian intelligentsia and literati who affectionately refer to her as the lioness of Iran. She was nominated twice for the Nobel Prize in literature, and has "received many literary accolades around the world. she was hospitalized in Tehran on 6 august 2014 . she remained in a coma from 6 August until her death 19 August 2014.
