As you might remember, several months ago, the security forces announced the formation of a new unit of undercover agents composed of approximately 7000 members to better impose the compulsory veil law in Iran. Given the increasingly reb...ellious stance of millions of Iranian women against the compulsory veil, the authorities think that it is more pressing to make sure that women’s hair will not be visible as opposed to channeling this direly needed money to other causes that might actually save hundreds of lives. As you might know, in addition to embezzling huge sums as part of the rampant corruption in the country, the authorities also invest a hefty amount of money in the promotion of the compulsory veil through billboards, seminars, and various other activities. In the meantime, Iranian firefighters have been complaining about years of underfunding and many of them have been risking their lives because the government keeps telling them that they do not have enough money to secure them modern equipment to put out fires. The result? Every year, scores of Iranian firefighters have been dying while heroically trying to put out fires and the recent #Plasco tragedy is testimony to that. This tragedy is another indication of the mismanagement of funds by the government; a government that seems to have its priorities confused in the midst of pressing problems that the nation has been grappling with.

آتش نشان ها کنار آوار بر سر اعضای شورای شهر فریاد می زدند به چه نگاه می کنید، پول بدهید تا امکانات بخریم..پول هایی که میلیاردی صرف سمینارهای حجاب می شود می توانست جان ها را ناجی باشد....در کشوری که بودجه عفاف و حجاب 6 هزار میلیارد است باید با صدای بلند فریاد زد؛ به جای نگرانی برای موی زنان، نگران ویرانی ها و آوار شدن پلاسکو های فرسوده بر سر مردم باشید.
