Iranian Actress Banned From Acting For Posting Online Pics Without Hijab
پاسخ ساده است: چون براي دنيا هم تعجب آور است كه چرا حجاب يك زن آن هم در قرن ٢١ همچنان در يك كشور زوري و اجباري است و حتي اگر خارج از خاك كشور هم بازيگرانِ زن آن كشور كشف حجاب كنند وزارت فرهنگ آن كشور به سرعت اعلام مي كند اين كار غير اخلاقي است عكس ها را پاك كنيد و با عذرخواهي جبران كنيد.
An Iranian actress has been banned from acting and branded ‘immoral’ after she posted pictures of herself online without her hijab.
Sadaf Taherian put the pictures of herself on her Facebook and Instagram pages in protest against strict laws in Iran that decree women cover their heads.
But the pictures soon drew the attention of the Iranian ministry of culture.
She’s since had to flee to nearby Dubai after facing public abuse over the pictures, with officials even reportedly doctoring them, Photoshopping her hijab back on.
It’s been law since 1979 that Iranian women cover their hair in public.
Speaking on Tablet, a TV show on the Voice of America’s Persian language channel, she said: “I was nervous and worried about how people would react to my photos.
“I did not expect this from the people of Iran, from my own culture – to hear so many insults.
“I can only feel sorry for their reaction and I have nothing else to say. When I wore the hijab on screen I did it for the love of my career and the demand of the film. I want to live in a place and live the way that makes me happy.” .”
She also spoke about instances of sexual harassment that she had experienced while working as an actress.
“It bothered me when I was acting and the director was thinking about me in any way except acting,” she said.
“He was only waiting for the scene to finish so he could whisper in my ear again
“They would put five or six contracts in front of me with only one condition: One month – to be with them.”
She now hopes to continue acting in Dubai.

JAILED IRANIAN ARTIST ATENA FARGHADANI RECIPIENT OF CRNI’S 2015 COURAGE IN CARTOONING AWARD
آتنا فرقدانی در اوین است و جایزه جهانی شجاعت در کارتون نصیبش شد
آتنا فرقدانی هنرمند کارتونیست زندانی برنده‌ی جایزه‌ی شجاعت در کشیدن کاریکاتور از سوی شبکه‌ی بین‌المللی مدافع حقوق کاریکاتوریست‌ها(CRNI) شد. خانم فرقدانی اولین زن در جهان می باشد که به شکل انفرادی برنده ی این جایزه جهانی شده است.
این هنرمند-فعال ایرانی به علت کشیدن و انتشار کارتونی در اعتراض به طرح پیشنهادی مجلس شورای اسلامی ایران که حق کنترل موالید و حقوق زنان را در ایران محدود می‌کرد، زندانی شد.
این جایزه‌ی شجاعت در تاریخ ۵ سپتامبر ۲۰۱۵ در مراسمی هم‌زمان با نشست سالانه انجمن کاریکاتوریست‌های مطبوعات آمریکا غیاباً از سوی دکتر رابرت راسل، بنیان‌گذار و مدیر اجرایی این شبکه‌ی بین‌المللی به آتنا فرقدانی اهدا خواهد.
CRNI’s 2015 Courage in Cartooning award is being given to Iranian artist-activist Atena Farghadani. Ms. Farghadani was jailed in Tehran in August of 2014 after publishing a cartoon in protest of proposed legislation that would restrict birth control and women’s rights in Iran. Following her release four months later, Farghadani posted a YouTube video recounting her beatings and mistreatment while in prison. In anticipation of her trial on charges that included “spreading propaganda against the system,” Farghadani wrote a defiant open letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in which she said: “I know … I will be in a court that screams injustice. I will be present before a judge who for years has skewed the BALANCE of justice … What you call an ‘insult to representatives of the parliament by means of cartoons’ I consider to be an artistic expression of the … parliament which our nation does not deserve!”

The UN extends sorely needed monitoring of the human rights situation in Iran
By extending the mandate of the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Iran for another year, the Human Rights Council has recognized that serious human rights violations continue to take place in the country, and that international attention on human rights should not be diverted by the ongoing nuclear negotiations.
FIDH has tirelessly called on the Council to keep Iran on its agenda and to continue to monitor, discuss and publicly report on the situation of human rights in the country, irrespective of geopolitical considerations and based on an objective assessment of violations committed.
The extension of the Special Rapporteur’s mandate is especially important given the Iranian authorities’ refusal to address the persistent human rights violations taking place in the country, including the repression of basic freedoms, discrimination against women and ethnic and religious minorities, denial of due process, particularly for the many prisoners of conscience that remain behind bars, and the increasing application of the death penalty in violation of international law and standards for due process. Such violations of human rights in Iran are systemic, widespread, and systematic.

سال دیگر، شورای حقوق بشر به این تشخیص رسیده است که نقض حقوق بشر در این کشور
ادامه دارد و گفتگوهای جاری هسته ای نباید باعث انحراف توجه بین المللی به حقوق
بشر شوند.

پیوسته از شورا خواهان حفظ ایران در دستور کار آن، تداوم نظارت، بحث و گزارش
دهی عمومی در باره وضع حقوق بشر در این کشور، صرفنظر از ملاحظات مربوط به جغرافیای
سیاسی و بر اساس ارزیابی عینی از نقض حقوق بشر شده است. (1)

ماموریت گزارشگر ویژه بخصوص از این نگاه اهمیت دارد که دولتمردان ایران از توجه به
نقض مداوم حقوق بشر در این کشور، از جمله سرکوب آزادی های اساسی، تبعیض علیه زنان
و اقلیت های قومی و دینی، زیر پا گذاشتن موازین قضایی، به ویژه در مورد زندانیان
عقیدتی پرشماری که هنوز در زندان به سر می برند، و افزایش اجرای مجازات اعدام در
مغایرت با حقوق بین المللی و موازین قضایی، سر باز می زنند. این موارد نقض حقوق
بشر در ایران ساختاری، سامان مند، گسترده هستند.

به دنبال ارائه گزارش بن کی مون، دبیر کل سازمان ملل متحد و احمد شهید، گزارشگر ویژه سازمان ملل متحد در مورد وضعیت حقوق بشر در جمهوری اسلامی ایران به کمیته سوم مجمع عمومی سازمان ملل متحد،
این کمیته که شامل تمام کشورهای عضو سازمان ملل می‌باشد، در روز سه شنبه ۲۷ آبان ۱۳۹۳، قطعنامه‌ای را که پیش نویس آن توسط دولت کانادا تهیه شده است، پس از بررسی، در همین روز به رای خواهند گذاشت.
این کمیته که شامل تمام کشورهای عضو سازمان ملل می‌باشد، در روز سه شنبه ۲۷ آبان ۱۳۹۳، قطعنامه‌ای را که پیش نویس آن توسط دولت کانادا تهیه شده است، پس از بررسی، در همین روز به رای خواهند گذاشت.

Mr. President,
We take note of Iran’s participation in the UPR and of its submission of a national report, but we regret that the latter focused almost exclusively on legislation and provisions of the Constitution that supposedly enshrine equal rights for all citizens, but are not upheld in practice. We further deeply regret Iran’s failure to imple¬ment a large majority of the recommendations from its first UPR cycle, its continued rejection of recom¬mendations regarding women’s rights and the execution of minors, among others, as well as the grounds for rejecting recommendations that are listed on page 4 of the Addendum to the Report of the Working Group on its UPR.
Mr. President,
The human rights situation inside Iran has objectively deteriorated over the past year and a half. The repression of basic freedoms, discrimination against women, ethnic and religious minorities, denial of due process, particularly for the many prisoners of conscience, including journalists and human rights defenders, and other human rights violations continue to take place on a daily basis. Executions in Iran are increasing each year, and the death penalty continues to be used against religious and ethnic minorities, political dissidents, and juveniles.
Those who speak out for human rights are targeted with threats and arbitrary arrests, as highlighted in the case of Nasrin Sotoudeh, who continues to be illegally prohibited from practicing the legal profession. The repression of civil society is made clear by the fact that many Iranian human rights defenders who participated in the UPR process are working in exile, since any person within Iran who were to openly engage with UN human rights mechanisms would have put themselves at great risk of reprisals from the government.
Iran continues to refuse to cooperate with special procedures such as the Special Rapporteur on the country, Mr. Shaheed. Cooperation with international human rights mechanisms is essential if Iran wishes to demonstrate a willingness to respect international human rights law and standards, which to date it has largely failed to do. 19 march2015

سالگرد انقلاب و چهره سانسور شده جوانان بعد از انقلاب در این گزارش تلویزیونی
رقص و آزادی در کویر. شبکه تلویزیونی فرانس ۲۴ اشاره ای هم به صفحه آزادی های یواشکی زنان در ایران کرده است که در آن زنان ایرانی عکس های شان را در اعتراض به حجاب اجباری منتشر می کنند. با این گزارش همراه شوید ، این تصویرِ همه ی ایران نیست اما بی شک چهره ای از ایران است که همه این سالها سانسور شده.

در این فیلم که جایزه اول برلینانه را از آن خود ساخت حنا سعیدی بازیگر خردسال می گوید معلم شان به آنها گفته برای آنکه فیلم قابل پخش بسازید باید دقیت کنید که حجاب و شئونات اسلامی در آن رعایت شده باشد وگرنه فیلم قابل پخش نخواهد بود.
این فیلم لحظه ای است که اعلام می کنند جعفر پناهی اجازه خروج از کشور را نداشت اما خواهر زاده اش را دعوت می کنند به عنوان بازیگر فیلم تاکسی روی صحنه برود و جایزه را تحویل بگیرد.
جعفر پناهی در اعتراضات سال ۸۸ بازداشت و سپس بیست سال ممنوع از کار شد.
این فیلم لحظه ای است که اعلام می کنند جعفر پناهی اجازه خروج از کشور را نداشت اما خواهر زاده اش را دعوت می کنند به عنوان بازیگر فیلم تاکسی روی صحنه برود و جایزه را تحویل بگیرد.

According to Amnesty International's 2013 report on the death penalty, Iran is only one of four countries -- including Saudi Arabia, Somalia, and North Korea -- that continues to stage public executions. Though there is dubious legal or religious justification for this practice, Iranian officials have disparage critics of public hanging as “Western-educated” and have argued that the practice “increases people’s sense of security.” Recently the people of Shiraz staged a campaign refusing to attend a public execution. Why do you think the Iranian government continues to stage public executions?

In the wake of the January 7 attack on the offices of Charlie Hebdo in Paris, the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran released a video today, featuring nine prominent Iranian cartoonists, satirists and comedians expressing their solidarity with the victims of the attack and the defense of free speech.

Slideshow: Journalists killed in 2014
In 2014, at least 60 journalists and 11 media workers were killed in relation to their work, according to CPJ research. Local and international journalists died covering conflicts, including in Syria, Iraq, and Ukraine, while many others were murdered reporting on corruption and organized crime in their own countries.
Here, CPJ remembers some of the journalists who gave their lives to bring us this year's headlines.
